Boa L6's low-profile single dial minimizes the overall detail of the ME502 , which is convenient when you need to quickly and discreetly adjust your position on a slope. The midsole conforms to the trial vibration and features a Torbal design , which gives the shoe some freedom to flex around the pedal so your body doesn't have to work as hard to balance and make minor steering adjustments.

The ME502 eliminates the costly carbon compound in favor of a proprietary Shimano rubber compound which provides improved grip for emergency maneuvers with a stand and climbing back to the top on foot. It reaches a stiffness level of six out of 12 on the Shimano scale providing platform stability when you need to transfer watts but not so much that you feel the urge to put your shoes back on when heading out at night after a trip.
